The Pheasant – 017687 76234   A local 17th century Coaching Inn, just a 4 minute walk from Ouse Bridge Guest House.   Open for lunches (from 12pm till 4.30pm) and evening meals (from 6pm till 9pm) every day of the week. You could visit Dubwath Silver Meadows nature reserve on your way to or from The Pheasant.

The Bistro at the Distillery – 017687 88852  The Bistro at the Distillery has a comfortable, stylish and unique setting, and offers both an informal and modern dining experience to its customers.  A short walk to the Distillery through the local fields.

The Snooty Fox,  Uldale – 016973 71479 The Snooty Fox is well known for its food and beer in the Northern Fells together with its warm, relaxed and informal atmosphere. The emphasis here is very much on excellent quality home cooked food, using local produce wherever possible and unobtrusive but attentive service.

We would recommend if you are visiting over bank holidays or during the busy holiday season, that you book in advance for any of our local restaurants mentioned above.
